Fabrication Laboratory

The project is located on the ground floor of the 40 social housing building in Sant Martí, Barcelona. A 200m2 manufacturing workshop is planned for social housing tenants designed for daily use. The program consists of workshop space to work, 3D printing machines, laser cutting machines, CNC machines, and meeting and administration spaces.

The project is based on the original concrete structure with which the boxes that will house the different specialized machines that the FabLab will have will be modularized. These boxes open to a bright and open multipurpose space in which the workspace is arranged.
