Vidaledo

The project was born to respond to the post-covid society, the lack of affordable housing, loneliness, the aging of the population and the possibility of a sustainable way of life for people, adjusted to their changing needs and lifestyles.

Aledo proposes a new neo-rural lifestyle that allows you to have the benefits of living in the city and in the countryside, it is a project to create a self-sufficient community that promotes health and biodiversity and that proposes a slow way of life while you can be globally connected. A hexagonal mesh is projected that adapts to the terrain, promoting a greater number of connections between people and ensuring that all homes have access to the street and a portion of agriculture. The aim is to achieve a city model that, being small, achieves shorter distances and makes transportation more efficient. These new settlements follow the rules of natural systems and promote biodiversity. The project emphasizes self-sufficiency to secure the future through 0km food, water recycling, renewable energy and digital manufacturing.
